Time flies ...
I find it hard to believe that it's been a month since I have 'blogged.' Isolation is not an unusual thing for a writer ... most are introverted and like their me time - some more than others.
So, what have I achieved in this month? Apart from getting all my books in to global distribution - finally - plus uploading them to the libraries, I have found myself spring cleaning. While it is not exactly spring here in the southern hemisphere, the weather is mild and inspiring. I'm downsizing as well as organising. And finding it very liberating.
As well I have purchased some storage in the form of shelving. I love shelving ... there is so much one can do with it. It's also a great way to fill in an evening, putting it together when there is nothing worth viewing on TV.
And of course, I am reading a couple of books ... The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams, which is an unusual story, to say the least, and The Rule of Knowledge by Scott Baker. This I will add, is a book I won many years ago. Scott has done many things beside write, and that includes working on the movie, The Hobbit. The Rule of Knowledge is - so far - proving to be a read that could lead one anywhere. I am enjoying the mystery of it.
So, while many lament the dreainess of this Covid-19 lockdown, it is but another moment in my life ... one that has kept me very busy.
Keep well, everyone and stay happy. Things could be worse.
